FOCUS Columbus
FOCUS Columbus provides a rare and unique opportunity to gain insight into our community and its civic agenda through a comprehensive two day seminar.
When: October 5 & 6, 2011
Cost: $650/individual; $950/couple (corporate rate)
$400/individual; $700/couple (non-profit rate)
Course Objectives:
- Broaden participants’knowledge of the region, informing them about the civic agenda and its issues and challenges
- Acquaint participants with community leaders in small group settings and to network with decision makers
- Provide camaraderie and a feeling of connectivity to the region among course participants
- Encourage participants’involvement in community affairs and provide connections to board and volunteer positions
Who Should Attend?
The program is ideal for all senior or mid-level professionals who are pursuing a more active role with thecivic agenda and executives who are expected to take on a broader rolerepresenting his/her company on local nonprofit boards, task forces and committees. It is also extremely well-suited for relocating executives and their spouses who consider an orientation to our community just as important as an orientation to his/her company.
