LEADERSHIP COLUMBUS

Elevate Your Commitment

The 55 participants who comprise each Leadership Columbus class are selected to participate because they have already demonstrated they are committed to community service through their various volunteer activities and professional commitments.

The Leadership Columbus program challenges these local emerging and existing leaders who are already established in the community to learn more about themselves, expand their professional and social network, refine their leadership skills, develop a systemic understanding of how our community works and examine in-depth the important issues that will impact Columbus’ future.

The ten month curriculum is comprised of personalized, state-of-the-art self-assessment testing administered through the nationally renowned Center for Creative Leadership, monthly sessions focusing on community issues and challenges (including interaction with current community leaders), and a group project designed to serve as a laboratory to increase skill levels and provide outcome based solutions to community problems.

From September to June, the Leadership Columbus program provides its participants the exposure, experiences, and connections that prepare them to take on the mantle of senior leadership in our community.
