    Let’s Connect!

  • The Nonprofit Board Governance Training is a valuable course that gives you the confidence and clarity to better serve your board and fellow board members. Although I’ve served on boards before, this information isn’t something that comes naturally or is always taught when joining most boards. This should be a requirement for anyone joining a board or thinking about joining one.

Andy Wasserstrom, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Advance Sign Group; Signature Program Class of 2020
  • Worthington Industries has benefited greatly from sending our colleagues through the Signature Program. It expands their thoughts about the community and their network. They get outside our walls and the community becomes their learning lab. I have seen Leadership Columbus inspire our employees to find their passion and strive to make a difference in our community.

Cathy Lyttle, Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, Worthington Industries; Leadership Columbus Hall of Fame Award Recipient and Class of 1993
  • I highly recommend Leadership Columbus’s Nonprofit Board Governance Training for anyone who is new to board service or is looking to refresh their understanding. The training provides a foundational understanding of pertinent topics like board member roles and responsibilities, governance structures and a refresher on Robert’s Rules of Order. You’ll walk away with new knowledge and tangible skills to bring to your nonprofit board experience. The panel discussion between board chairs and nonprofit CEOs was fascinating and provides attendees insights into some common challenges between board members and nonprofit staff. Completing the training will position you well for your next nonprofit board role!

Emily Sandman, Manager, Community Relations, Cardinal Health; Signature Program Class of 2020
  • This experience has been transformative both personally and professionally. More than gaining knowledge of Columbus, the Leadership Columbus Signature Program will grow your heart for Columbus as a community.

Katie Suty, Signature Program Class of 2019
  • To people who wonder if its time or if the Leadership Columbus Signature Program is worth the commitment – I would only say one thing, have a bias towards action, always attempt to improve, always spend your time to do something better. You will not be disappointed. The program provides a wealth of high value resources that are timely, relevant and will help you and our community in all future endeavors.

William A. Chinn, Signature Program Class of 2019
