Leadership Columbus Launches the Executive Edge Program, An Intensive Program Designed to Develop Future Executives of Columbus

Columbus, OH – Leadership Columbus, a non-profit organization dedicated to developing leaders for the improvement of Columbus, is excited to announce a major re-envisioning of their previous program ExecGen. Effective immediately, ExecGen will become the Executive Edge Program. This new vision and identity more effectively conveys the purpose of the program: helping mid-career professionals develop and sharpen the functional and interpersonal skills required of effective, strategic leaders. Not only will the name provide clarity for prospective participants about what the program is, but it will also bring the program sharper attention, attracting a broad base of new sponsors and supporters across Central Ohio.

The Executive Edge Program is a six-month program that provides participants with the opportunity to learn from experienced business leaders, develop their leadership skills, and network with other rising stars in Central Ohio. The program is designed for managers with at least 5-10 years of direct people management experience who are looking to take their careers to the next level and make a positive impact on their organizations and the community.

“We are thrilled to launch the Executive Edge Program and provide a platform for the development of the future leaders of our community,” said Jennifer Peterson, Board Chair of Leadership Columbus. “We believe this program will help drive innovation, collaboration, and growth in Central Ohio across industries.”  

The Executive Edge Program will include workshops, personalized assessments, coaching, and networking opportunities, led by a team of experienced facilitators. Enrollment for the inaugural class of the Executive Edge Program will be accepted from August 10 through October 31, 2023. The program will begin February 22-23, 2024 with a two-day launch retreat.
