Most have heard the Peter Drucker quote, “Culture eats strategy for breakfast”, but what if despite our best efforts around culture, we fall short? Specifically, in this new era of hybrid and flexible work environments, culture seems to be taking a hit.
According to a very recent article put out by Ken Blanchard companies, “HR/L&D people are worried about not only their employees’ mounting workload but also the thinning of organizational culture due to remote and hybrid work patterns.”
Does this mean we should do away with hybrid models for work and eliminate flexible schedules? Not necessarily. I do believe the shift and resultant cultural impacts require leaders to reimagine their leadership approach.
